Omnio is a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent, vetted local service professionals in Western New York. Providers are independent businesses, not Omnio employees.
A booking is a request until a professional accepts it. Availability shown in the app reflects provider capacity, notice requirements, and time off; exact arrival times are confirmed by your professional.
You save a card securely with Stripe when booking. You are only charged after the job is completed and you confirm it in the app. Quoted services are charged at the price you approved. Some larger projects may require a deposit — for example, to cover materials — and any deposit is always shown to you and approved by you before work is scheduled. Completed-work disputes should be raised promptly through the app.
You can cancel a booking free of charge at any time before work begins. Once your professional has begun the job — including arriving at the property to perform the work — cancellation is no longer free of charge: you may be charged for work already performed and for materials already purchased or ordered for your job, up to the approved job price. Where a deposit was collected for a larger project, the portion covering materials already purchased or costs already incurred may be non-refundable. If a job's scope changes, nothing beyond the approved price is ever charged without your explicit approval in the app.
Providers agree to maintain accurate service areas, rates, capacity and time off; to carry any legally required licenses/insurance; and to complete accepted jobs professionally. Omnio charges a platform commission on completed jobs per the provider's plan.
No misuse of the platform, off-platform payment circumvention for matched jobs, harassment, or fraudulent bookings. Accounts may be suspended for violations.
Omnio facilitates connections and payments; work is performed by independent professionals. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omnio's liability is limited to amounts paid through the platform for the job in question.

Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of texts does not affect your Omnio account or email notifications.
